End-user License Agreement (EULA) for condoms??

March 9, 2005

From Ed Foster’s Gripe Log:

<excerpt>
A reader attending a recent tradeshow was handed a surprising promotional giveaway by the makers of BitDefender antivirus software. It was a condom - the BitDefender Prophylactic.

Read more here, and have fun. And pardon yet another exercise in shallowness.

Incidentally,
those of us who grouse about bad customer service should read Ed
Foster. He writers about silly End-User License Agreements (EULAs),
among others. The characters in stories he writes — which, BTW, are
true — should be in jail for violations of Consumer Rights laws. Go
figure.

If you were a dog, what breed would you be?

Tired enough to get shallow and have a little fun. Take the test from here and find out. Click on the Game button on the left strip.

It’s not entirely unrelated to my interests, specifically computers:

This game is based on a computer called SUKA built in 1975 by
Russian scientist Mikhail Volkonsky and now housed in the London
Science Museum.

BTW, I’m an English setter. By Jove!
